"To Whom it may concern. We are a Body Corporate responsible for two blocks of units located at the above address comprising 14 separate residential & commercial units. Each unit is owned by a different owner. We needed to complete repainting of the property and put the job to tender on two separate occasions. The first tender was unsuccessful with many offers varying based on different options. So we called on several companies to meet with us onsite and recommend proposed work. From the initial encounter, NZ Quality Painters were by far the most professional of all contractors and made sensible pragmatic recommendations… all of which we accepted. The other tenderers were brief and less professional. One had their own scaffolding and stated that their quote would be cheaper based on this. All quotes came to within 10% of each other, and NZ Quality Painters were the lowest price based on the work they included. We had a recommendation from one of our owners who had used NZ Quality Painters on another property and was extremely satisfied with their workmanship and performance. We awarded them the contract and were anxious during the first stage. We had planned to change the building colours and Allan worked with us guiding on a colour range and this guidance was excellent. We also had some maintenance required and NZ Quality Painters worked with our other contractors to allow access via their scaffolding. Upon the completion of the first stage (on time and as quoted) we were comfortable that we had chosen the correct contractors. The work was completed to an excellent standard and we received numerous positive feedback regarding the professionalism of the contractors. They went beyond normal service and maintained an excellent worksite. It was safe, secure and clean. They went to extra effort and left the property cleaner at the end of each day than when they started. They even cleaned windows after painting and swept the footpaths. The total three stage project was completed in less time than quoted and to an exceptionally high standard.
